Our Mission

ABOUT ADME TO LIFE

ADME (Pronounced ADD ME)= Anxiety, Depression, Mental Illness, Emotional Support. This site has been created to educate and support those with mental illness. As a Life Coach,  I wish to be the bridge between your sessions with a professional counselor or therapist. I will direct you to legitimate sites by sharing information, videos, and my knowledge and experiences through my Sandy's Corner blog.  I am a Life Coach and do not want this site to take the place of you getting professional help. My goal is to help you understand your diagnosis, its symptoms, and different treatments for it.  I teach coping skills to help you better manage symptoms. I encourage you to learn, grow, and take charge of what you can control.

I join forces with Psychologist Krissy Lariviere. She will have her blog and will be overseeing the educational parts of this site and include group sessions as well as personal therapy.

All About Me: Sandra Marie Nicoll

I was born and raised in Aurora Illinois, on Mother's Day. 1959.  I graduated in the first graduating class of Waubonsie Valley High School in 1977. I went on to work in a local hospital for 28 years, in various positions before going on permanent disability.  I was married and divorced eight years later, ending a thirteen-year relationship.  I earned my associate's degree in 1999. I have since, with the exception of math credits, finished my bachelor's degree in psychology.  I have been a life coach for the past eight years and am finishing life and woman issues coaching certifications.  I have been the owner and director of the ADME Support group for women on Facebook for eight years but recently shut it down so that I could concentrate on this site.

I have suffered from Major Depressive Disorder, C-PTSD, PTSD, and Anxiety Disorder.  I've worked hard on my inner recovery and growth.  I know that recovery is never ending but the way we think and the way react to the world around us can change if we are willing to work hard and be honest with ourselves.  In my opinion, most people are more afraid of the issues they need to face than they are of staying unhealthy and unhappy. For this reason, life remains a toxic unending line of bad relationships and misfortune for them.       There may not be a 'cure' for mental illness but changes can be made to take control of symptoms, the way we think about ourselves, and the way we respond to life's difficult situations. Life is for living not just surviving. This site is dedicated to all those that suffer from mental illness and desire to take a first step towards loving their life.

God Bless,

Sandra M. Nicoll    admetolifeweb@gmail.com
